A new edition of the impro series The Art of the Duo is in planning right now and will start March 21. Guests will be: Liz Kosack, Paula Sanchez, Cansu Tanrıkulu, Fred Frith, Mariá Portugal and Kathrin Pechlof. All of them will hold a workshop too with a topic around improvisation and creation. PULSE is starting the year with 2 concerts with music by many jazz cats in Bremen and Oldenburg, then Nick Dunston will come and he is bringing his banjo. He is the current SWR Jazzpreis recipient so you better check out what he has prepared fot PULSE. In June we are presenting our education project Synths & Strings at the Glocke in Bremen. Also, we are going to Berlin with this one. Later in summer, we are at Bezau Beatz Festival with Tilo Weber, with whom we are also working on a release. Here is our flyer, by Moritz Borchardt. 2025/01

My solo project Playground had its complete first performance in September. It's a colorful 60 minute show with a lot of electronics, my Moog Taurus III, and a lot of buttons pressed. In a stage installation by Anna Schilling and Johannes Ellmer. It it meant to be for children as well, I think they would dig it. Now the trailer is out, and I am happy if I could play this one again. So any hints for suitable festivals my way please!
